Lessons

Our learn-to-swim program.

Requirements for this group are that participants are toilet trained. Participants are taken through a progression of skills working towards water competence. Class sizes are kept small (maximum of three) to ensure an effective coach to swimmer ratio.

Classes meet twice a week for 30 minutes.

Prep

Our introductory group to competitive swimming.

Requirements for the group are that swimmers can swim 25 yards freestyle with effective side breathing, swim 25 yards backstroke, and tread water for an extended time.  Teaching focuses on developing the four competitive strokes and skills associated with competition.

Practices are offered four days a week for one hour.

Silver

Our intermediate competitive swimming group.

Requirements for the group are that swimmers can swim the four competitive strokes.  Teaching focuses on the technical aspects of the four competitive strokes and foundational skills of competitive swimming.

Practices are offered six days a week for 1.5 hours.

Masters

Our adult swimming program.

Practices cater to the goals of the individual athletes.  Generally, practices are designed to offer opportunities for improved health, camaraderie, and improved swimming technique.  Members of this group have opportunities to compete but are not required to do so.

Multiple practices times are offered throughout the week.
